This auction is for a great vintage, if not antique mute for brass instrument ~ perfect for collectors and decorators!  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at recent rural Kansas estate auctions. This listing:

this mute is unmarked
it stands approximately 10 inches tall and is approximately 5 inches in diameter at widest point
has one cork only
bottom end is painted creamy off white
made of aluminum or other metal
some dents
dusty due to years of storage
estate sale find
I am guessing that it dates to the 1940s or 50s
estate find
color shade is accurate on my monitor
straight from the auction
no odors noted
