The body of this item looks like a contraption that came out of a martian cartoon anyway it's kind of cool it has a rotisserie rod that you can set and turn and lock and set and turn and lock and turn the meat also I found this basket that didn't come with it originally but fits perfectly on the rod and inside for holding chicken parts so that should be useful. This was made to be used up against a fire in the fireplace or campfire. It's approximately 14x8" on the inside the overall dimensions are 18 inches long 15 in high and 10 in wide and has a 23 inch long rod it comes with string and some other little poker item that I don't know how it's used but you're getting it too. Old tin body new stainless steel basket the back door open so you can baste your meat it has a spout that you can pour out grease it's pretty cool. I read that some people put aluminum foil inside to get greater heat reflection on the old chicken parts..
