    Roman uniface gold colored eagle standard topper cold cast aquila aquilifer.  Measures 11.5 inches  x 10.5 inches.  I can fix the back to attach to a pole or hang on the wall.  Let me know how you plan to use and display it.  Cold casting is a method when atomized metal powder in mixed in with a boding agent (in this case urethane) and cast into a mold and later removed, cleaned off (removal of release agent), filed, sanded, drilled and finished out.

    , was a prominent symbol used in ancient Rome, especially as the standard of a Roman legion. A legionary known as an aquilifer or eagle-bearer, carried this standard. Each legion carried one eagle.
    The eagle was extremely important to the Roman military, beyond merely being a symbol of a legion. A lost standard was considered an extremely grave occurrence, and the Roman military often went to great lengths to both protect a standard and to recover it if lost.
    I also have hardwood ash poles for and Roman iron butt spikes for if your interested.  I can also make and attach a vexillum flag along with all of it's associated parts to the pole.  My decorated vexillum flags sell for around 0 each but some will be less and some will be more depending on the amount of detail you want.  The vexillum's flag cross bar, it's gold ends terminals and the two side ribbons are extra and the finale price depends on how nice or elaborate you want them. All of these extras are around 0 but again, it depends on how nice you want it looking.
    Many ancient Roman coins (which I have collected since the early 1980's) shows eagles on top of vexillums or flags.  I produce the nicest Roman vexillum flags in the world and only about 10% of what I have made in the past is even advertised for sale.  Since you are already buying this eagle, I will give you a 10% discount on one of my flags if you buy it from me direct.
