    Description

    Extremely rare listing from the
movie "GLADIATOR' released in 2000.  This epic film revived a long string of Roman & classical related movie hits including 'Alexander' and '300' to
name two none Roman films.  These movie props and costume were used by the personal mounted body guard of Commodus when he arrives
    in
    his carriage at Germania.
    There
he has an awkward meeting with his father Marcus Aurelius and friend Maximus.  He arrives with six elite mounted Praetorian Guard soldiers carrying the weighted
    ball pilums
(Roman type of spear) with white faux horse hair handing down from a brass decorated black ball and also carrying a small round black shield with gold designs.  This is the only
scene in the entire movie where you
see these props being used.  For the rest of film after this one scene, all Roman Praetorian soldiers carry the large long black shields and
carry the normal legionary designed pilum only.   No more elite decorated weighted ball pilums with white horse hair hanging down or the small round black shields.  This rare elite
Praetorian Guard escort of the future Emperor Commodus consist of the following complete kit.
The entire Roman Praetorian Guard armor kit as seen.  The complete Praetorian
costume kit.  The Praetorian extremely rare brass
decorated black weighted ball pilum with white horse hair and the small round black shield.
This entire kit will need extra shipping box's as I cannot fit the long pilum spear or the shield in the same box with all of the armor and costume parts.  That cost is not known at this time and will cost extra when everything is packed and ready to ship.
