Description
You are buying the red Roman officers decorated red belt wrap with the two embroidered Roman eagle/thunderbolt/wreath/SPQR only. Other items sold separately. Roman red Fascia Balteus Ventralis was used on a tunic of either a legionary or an officer. It's main purpose was to protect the tunic from the belt plates and metal parts of the military belt so that the tunic was not snagged by it etc. It also served a double purpose from my own experiments as the hips is also where a lot of the weight of the armor was distributed too and it would act as extra padding from the lorica hamate armor, sqamata armor or segmentata armor. The tunic 100% linen tunic can be purchased sedately for .
