Description
This is one of three swords and scabbards like this that I will make and sell. One of the three was sold before I even placed this new listing on eBay, so only two are left. This style combines the art work of a unique to me one of a kind Roman officer eagle headed gladius and highly decorated in high relief art work scabbard. It is a one of a kind combination of Roman military designs that I did and will never do again. This highly decorated Roman Officers gladius, scabbard and baldric could be worn by a Legate, Tribune, Consul, Camp Prefect or even an Emperor. The scabbard is silvered bronze as seen on the right side of the first vertical displayed picture. The scabbard on the left is the antiqued version which is the one also seen on the mannequin. For an extra 0, I can antique the silver scabbard to make the silver high relief work stand out more. The eagle handle is faux ivory. I can also antique that for . The Roman blade is of the rarer multiple blood grove types of which several have been found but most people just keep making the better known single blood grove. This sword and scabbard is 9 with the normal silvered scabbard. If you want the antiqued one, the finale cost will be 0 more of which you will need to pay after you make your initial purchase. The same for antiquing the handle. Be aware that this is not a mass produced sword and scabbard coming out of India by the tens of thousands. Only three like this will ever be made. Reserve yours today and be unique among the other Romans.
