This is a very long and fast reacting thermocouple wire with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is a bead at the tip of extra long 160 ft wire probe, which has a green FEP plastic coating. This is easier to clean than fiber glass insulation. It has a miniature type connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers (see my shop for a good selection).
This probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, liquid temperatures and it can be attached to pipes or embeded into objects you want to measure.

Additional information: This thermocouple will read very low temperatures, if you have a suitable thermometer. I have tested this down to -350°F (-210°C) with my thermometer DT1311 and DDT1312. Note that many digital thermometers only measure to -58 degree Fahrenheit or -50 degree Celsius, so please consult your manual.
