This is a brand new digital K type thermometer for contact temperature measurements. It has one input for K-type thermocouples and can display the temperature in 0.1° steps.
It can be used in HVAC trade to check air conditioners, heaters or furnaces with high precision. In manufacturing it can be used to measure liquid and air temperatures. In foundries and metal working it can measure very high temperatures, but you may need a specialized k-type thermocouple with a ceramic insulation.
It is also great for science projects, schools and universities and whenever you need a precise measurement of temperatures. It can be used in chemistry, physics and earth science.
It comes with one 3 ft (1 m) wire temperature probe, this has a glass fiber insulation and works up to about 500°F (260°C), and an additional 6" stainless steel insertion probe TC-3y, which works up to 1292°F (700°C).
A
ny other K-type probe with miniature thermocouple connector can be used. Please look in my store, I offer a 19" long stainless steel probe that works for up to 1832°F (1000°C) and k-type thermocouple wire with ceramic insulation that can measure all the way to 2500 degree Fahrenheit.
