Description
Life size Late Red Crested Roman Cavalry Officers jeweled helmet of the Berkasovo style that Constantine the Great is seen wearing on a famous painting of him entering York, where he was proclaimed Roman Emperor by his troops. This crest is a one of a kind item that came from the 1970 MGM movie prop and costume auction. It was made to adorn any shape and size of any helmet and as you can see was meticulously hand made. The helmet comes without the crest un-attached but I will also include small plenty of very tiny but strong 1/16" leather ties to tie it down to the helmets top jeweled crest box. It you want me to do this for you, there is an extra charge. In the pictures, it is just laying on the top crest box. You can also chose to have the crest sitting back a little further if you wish but I have studied both looks and the centered one as shown looks the best.
