  • Condition: Used North Sail Asymmetrical Spinnaker. This sail has been used lightly, and is in great condition. It was replaced because of a sail plan change in my 52 ft. fast catamaran. An horizontal cut was professionally repaired. The sail cloth is still "crispy". It has the name and logo of my catamaran. The name could be painted over with a modest cost.

    A North Cruising Gennaker is a free-flying, asymmetric spinnaker tacked to the bow or sprit and does not require a spinnaker pole, special hardware or rigging. This particular North Gennaker, also called "G1", is an All-Purpose model which will be a perfect fit depending on your boat’s performance parameters and your preferred wind range. This Cruising Gennaker model features a wide steering groove to ensure maximum versatility, which is especially important when cruising at night or by autopilot.
    This sail is for either a fast and light monohull or for a catamaran in the range of 48 to 55 ft.

    G1 Gennaker comes with North Snuffer Plus™, the sock used to hoist or haul down.
    I needed to replace it after rigging a new carbon mast which had different measures.This sail is almost new,
    except an horizontal cut which was professionally repaired. It was sailed only a few days and the cloth is still very crispy. It is in excellent condition! I would normally use the sail in true wind angles range between 110º and 160º but angle depends on the boat speed and wind strength. The sail was made to sail in true winds up to 25 Kts with my light catamaran.
