    Description

Slow cook 2 cups of water, rice, a hamburger, a hot dog and a piece chicken in 2 cup sized pans.  90 minutes to 2 hours until the contents are piping hot and fully cooked. Great way to demonstrate solar cooking and have some great samples to share. Or just use them to cook a 5 course meal for yourself.
This is a set of 5 Mini Copenhagen Solar Cooker kits. Each kit has 4 reflective panels, 4 spring clips, 2 laser cut base pieces and a shoelace.
    The 4 reflective panels are 9.5" x 9.5"  (24.25cm x 24.25cm)
    The 2 base panels are 5" x 5"  (12.5cm x 12.5cm)
The Mini Copenhagen is a durable cooker that can be used to teach students about how sunshine can be easily collected and converted to heat energy to cook with. There are several good solar cooker lesson plans online.
It will heat water hot enough to kill pathogens. Most foods will reach an internal temperature of 165F - 78C to 185F - 88C if heated for 1 to 2 hours. Use pans that hold 2 cups - .47L or less.
The cooking pans are not included. Glass bowls with lids, small cast iron teapots, any smaller dark pan with a tight fitting lid can be used. Canned foods can be heated in can but poke a hole in lid to release steam. Cover can with clean black sock, shiny cans will reflect instead of absorbing the heat.
The solar cooking blog Sunshine On My Shoulder has a review of the Mini Copenhagen.
